Analysis Of Jacqueline Winspear's 'Birds Of A Feather'

The historical event that takes place in my book, Birds of a Feather by Jacqueline Winspear, is The Great War, or World War l. World War I was a war that started in Europe and over four years included many other countries, such as Japan, Italy, and the United States. The Great War began on July 28th, 1914 and ended on November 11th, 1918. The Great War affected thousands of millions of people; 20,000 soldiers died during the war and 21,000 people were wounded in the war, while millions of other people were starting to catch the influenza outbreak. World War I began after a chain of events caused by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.
