During 1914, a first global world centered in Europe started. People often called this war as the Great War or World War I. World War I was a time of struggle for Europe. Many factors led to great tension in Europe, sparking the need for a war. The war was mainly fought between members of the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy) and the members of The Triple Entente (Great Britain, France, and Russia). At that time, United States stayed neutral, which meant they did not want to get involved. However, in 1917, United States joined the war. The United States confirmed as a world power after the war ended. The main reason that led U.S involved in was the sinking of the neutral ship in Europe which resulted in the death of many civilian people. The United States finalized to enter the war to fight for the right of humanity and supported human values as the most important thing in this universe. This perspective redoubled America as a hero and escalated the respect from other countries after the war ended. In addition, the war also created pros and cons in America 's society. The pro was the contribute of women during World War I which the Congress gained the women right after the war ended. However, the cons after the war ended were doubled. The war also raised the tension between people of African descent, with white people on top. This resulted in ghettos in many places and lack of opportunities for people of African descent in the North. Although, the economic of the United States was not going well after the war ended. Some opponent countries and many other large countries such as Germany embargoed trading. Many countries that involved in the war became poor and ineligible to trade or pay the debt. Finally, the embargoed of trading turned into the Great Depression. In the United States, Tons of products cannot sell or trade which led to the overproduction in the year after. The overproduction in many factories made many factories closed jobs or even disband. This forced people lost their jobs instantly and couldn’t hold the financial. Some family cannot pay for their house rent money so they have to live on a street. The number of homeless and unemployed people increased years by years in the United States.
