Al-Qaeda Al-Qaeda is a big threat to the United States. When 9/11 occurred it put America in a stage of being scared and worried. Al-Qaeda is an Islamic terrorist group trying to take over and spread throughout the world. Because of the U.S Troops being sent to Saudi Arabia in 1990 trying to take control over the war lords, Osama Bin Laden and his groups ‘’Al-Qaeda” has been mad at America. United States Military are trying their best to keep all of it under control. The military has to put a stop to the plague they are causing! If not, us Americans are going to put the danger in our own hands. Al-Qaeda started in August in the year 1988. The word Al-Qaeda means the base. The person who started it is Osama Bin Laden. Osama Bin Laden is born in 1957. He was a master mind to a lot of terrorist attacks. September 11, 2001 was the biggest terrorist attack on America. It shocked a lot of people. Osama Bin Laden was the mastermind to all of it, he became the most wanted man in the world! Seal team 6 closed in on Osama Bin Laden in 2011 and killed him. The most wanted man was finally killed. That relieved Americans so much. The reasons behind the attacks on the United States are the economic prices on everything.

Osama Bin Laden didn’t like the prices on our US goods being sent over to them. Laden wanted America to go bankrupt. US taxes were costing Al-Qaeda’s home country a fortune. In the year of 1990 U.S Troops were order to go to Saudi Arabia and take out Saddam Hussein. Osama didn’t not like that all. Osama planned out to attack the US on February, 26 1993 in New York City at the World Trade Centers. Many more attacks occurred after one on the world trade centers, such as 9/11. He planned attack on the World trade Centers AGAIN! This time with people hijacking planes in America. There were four planes involved with 9/11. Two out of the four planes crashed into the north and south twin towers. Another plane crashed into the pentagon. The last one crashed into an empty field. August, 7 1990 is when it all started with Al-Qaeda and U.S Troops. U.S troops arrived in Saudi Arabia to take down Saddam Hussein’s troops. Osama Bin Laden didn’t like the troops to be in and around his territory. In 1992, U.S forces want to make a plan to disarm most warlords, and Osama was a huge warlord. Of course he was going to have a problem with that. He didn’t want anyone to take over his group, definitely from another country. Laden was to be a god and didn’t want people to take control over that. That’s when he planned all these attacks on the United States. He thought that is the troops could come and take over them. He thought he could destroy America. After the 9/11 incident, George Bush demanded to send troops to take out Al-Qaeda in Iraq. U.S troops has been fighting now for 14 years. George W. Bush wanted the Taliban to hand over Osama Bin Laden so the troops wouldn’t have to destroy all of them for just one person. Our troops have been at war for a really long time. The Seal Team 6 helped out a lot by taking out Osama Bin Laden.
