Ronnie used to be in a band called Escape the Fate during the “scene” era of a new genre “Pop Metal.” Unfortunately Ronnie got into some pretty unsavory situations. These events lead him to prison and rehab. During Ronnie’s vacation to the big house, his band kept going, and of course needed a new lead singer. This spot was taken by Craig Mabbitt who proceeded to not only take Ronnie’s livelihood, but his personal life as well.

This argument is effective in the use of arrogance to show “The rest” that he is better than they will ever be. This is directed toward everyone who has been following along. To his fans as more of, you chose me and this is why. Alternatively, to “The Rest,” this was seen negatively, therefore being rendered ineffective by the alternate audience.
Of course as all arguments go this had to end sometime, but Ronnie did it with a flare, and a little spite. The feud, he felt, had gone on too long. Little did “The Rest” know this would not be seen as a peaceful end, but rather as a declaration of detachment. He sent them one final message in the song “Fuck the rest.” He is intending it to be taken as saying they’re not worth his or our time and that “The Rest” are below us.
