Oscans inhabited originally but greeks eventually colonized - etruscans made moves to influence here starting in the 6th century, turned into a huge feud that lasted into the 5th - big battle with greek naval victory, so greek culture prevailed of Italic yet still good to note etruscans were able to do that much from so far |
