Make sure bills are passed that are at full potential, bills cant be passed without senate apporval. |

MLA's propose wether or not they should debate on it in a later meeting. |

Second Reading? |
They debate on the bills general goals after, decide wether they should let it be studied by the committee of the whole house. |

Committee of the whole house ? |
All MLA'S are part of the committee. They ask detailed questions of the bill, meaning and purpose. May decide to amend the bill. Can take few days or several weeks. |

Third Reading? |
MLA's may choose to debate the bill before taking final vote. If passed, the speaker declares is as an act. |

Royal Assent? |
LG goes to legislative chamber to give royal assent to the new act. Which becomes a law of BC. |
