The fight to End Human Trafficking Human trafficking is an open wound on the body of contemporary society, a scourge upon the body of Christ it is a crime against humanity (Pope Francis). Human trafficking is a serious threat to human rights and dignity. We live in a world where man’s have absolute control over another. Human trafficking is a crime that goes against human rights. Thousands of women, men and children are victims of trafficking every year. Many countries engage in trafficking either being the country that receives the people to be utilize or being the country that origin where people are taken from. The United Nations has been the main organization that fights human trafficking and other types of trafficking.
