At that time majority of Americans believed that the findings of the commission would help provide clarity and closure on the events that surrounded J.F. Kennedy’s murder. However, when the Warren Commission Report was published in 1964, Americans could not help but wonder about the existence of an assassination conspiracy (Kurtz 129).
