The JFK Assassination

When it come to the JFK case two things are clear. First, on November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and second the assassination took place in Dallas Texas. The rest has been up for debate for over 50 years. In 1964, one year after the president’s death the Warren Report concluded that there had been a lone shooter. One individual, Lee Harvey Oswald, killed President Kennedy. The Report also concluded that Oswald acted alone and was not part of a conspiracy. However, in 1978 the House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations declared that in addition to Oswald there was a second shooter. These findings contradicted the results by the Warren committee. Years after the Warren report was published Warren himself would admit that he actually ruled out a conspiracy just a few days after the president was murdered. To assassinate the most powerful individual in the world takes more than one person in my opinion. I don’t believe that the Cubans or the Soviets were involved, however the way Kennedy handled those issues could have played a role in his death. I think if not the actual assassination but the cover up was a work of the U.S Government/FBI/CIA. I think its beyond strange that the murder of such an important person was handled the way it was. Even though, many people including myself, find it extremely hard to comprehend and digest the fact that my government could have a hand in murdering their own president; it’s not uncommon. In many places all over the world presidents are forcefully removed and at times murdered by the military; and maybe because we live in a society that frowns upon any thing but democracy is why the JFK assassination was done in such a secret manner and why there was such a cover
