Character: William
In “All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury is a story about a colony of people finding life on Venus. The main character, Margot, had previously been living on Earth. She moved to Venus when she was four, but the other kids had lived on Venus their whole lives. This has made the other kids envy Margot, especially William.

William knows that the rest of the class shares his hatred so he can do whatever kind of horrid things to Margot and instead of being allies, they will band together to make one persons life miserable.
