    born, I had an older sister who passed away from bacterial meningitis, and I never got to meet her. She was not diagnosed until after she died, if she had been diagnosed while she was still alive, she could have been here today. When I was 14 I decided, I wanted to go into diagnostic x-ray, and be a part of the diagnosing process. I considered schools with a radiography program. Ferris State reviews said the program was one of the best in the country. I applied and got accepted into Ferris State University, and two years later the program. During my Freshman year at Ferris State, I was enrolled for 13 credits. I completed my first semester with a 4.00, and made the dean’s list. During my first semester, I joined the Greek organization Zeta Tau Alpha. My second semester at Ferris state, I was Academics chair for my sorority. I have also been the treasurer, ritual chair, and director of activities for my sorority over the past three years. My sorority raises money for breast cancer education and awareness. Last year we raised over $3,000 from our 5k we organized in the fall. I also joined the organization colleges against cancer my Freshman year. In march of 2015, I became a volunteer for Great Lakes Caring hospice. I volunteered about once a week for 1 or 2 hours. I am still volunteering with this organization today. My sophomore year I joined Panhellenic. Panhellenic is an organization that involves sorority women making an impact on campus. I was the intramural…
