It was not the first war between these two nations; it was actually the final stage of the long-standing conflict. They have always had an unresolved territorial dispute, to solve this problem French and England dynasties agreed to a truce and a royal marriage to seal peace between their kingdoms but it only created a bigger conflict between them which is now known as The Hundred Years’ War.
