    Five Years Eighth Grade Moving has always been difficult for me, and being a navy brat didn’t help any. Eighth grade year I told my parents that I wanted to stay in Virginia and finish high school in one school system. I decided this after I realized I had spent all but kindergarten in a different school and in middle schools case, a different state for all three years. That same year they had all the eighth graders packed into a hot and stuffy auditorium to sit and listen for over an hour about the different diplomas high school had to offer them.
