BYOD either positively or negatively affected an organization’s productivity and / or security. One real-world example of how BYOD either positively or negatively affected an organization’s productivity and / or security is in an article retrieved from the (dark side of BYOD – TechRepublic, n.d.) where “Within a $500 million health and wellness company, a consultant was hired to audit their IT systems to ensure their systems and practices were compliant with industry regulations and best practices. It was very quickly identified that end users were sharing sensitive customer data (credit card number, bank routing numbers) using public email channels (Hotmail, Gmail) and through consumer instant messaging platforms (AOL Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, MSN messenger), despite approved and documented processes”. With these infringement the organization was given days to consent, with heavy fines for every infringement recognized in addition to more fines for every day their frameworks were discovered to be rebellious. Determine whether or not you would consider implementing BYOD concepts in a real organization and whether or not the benefits outweigh the risks. As Egan, B. (2013) explained, “BYOD essentially means freedom of choice. Today’s IT professionals recognize the need to work with users rather than impose procedures and systems on them. BYOD is an expression of our world, which is becoming more democratic and more engaging.” Given that explanation I would consider…

Symbolism is defined as “the use of symbols to signify ideas and qualities by giving them symbolic meanings that are different from their literal sense” (Symbolism - Examples and Definition of Symbolism). If people pay close attention they can find that a detail that seems insignificant can have a valuable representation. Lois Lowry implements elements of symbolism throughout The Giver series, some elements more obvious than others. The red sled, the color blue and the Forest all consist of a…

sign that a mental illness is about to present itself; likewise a spiritual blogger, blogged that a person has these memories when their past collides with their future. Another article dismissed it as something similar in a past life, having happened to someone, and triggering the memory in this life. When I finish, with my research, I still don’t understand these déjà vu experiences, but at least they were starting to be less alarming. I’ve begun to play with them, thereby completely…

worth it, do I have to do this?” Billy grabbed the hanging rope dangled from her window sill and made his way to the second floor of the Trechfield’s home. Consequently, the four cheeseburgers he had for dinner, did not agree with the exercise he was not used to. “Billy, only two more feet, you are almost here. Keep pulling yourself up, but watch your shins of the pointy fence wire.” Obviously her warning was not enough because when he fell through her window, blood covered his ripped jeans.…

In modern molecular biology and genetics, the genome is the genetic material of an organism. It consists of DNA (or RNA in RNA viruses). The genome includes both the genes and the non-coding sequences of the DNA/RNA. Understanding Human Genetic Variation Genetics is the scientific study of inherited variation. Human genetics, then, is the scientific study of inherited human variation. We study genetic material due to following reasons; 1. One reason is simply an interest in better understanding…

Prokaryote DNA replication is a semi conservative, bidirectional, template driven process. The phrase ‘semi-conservative’ refers to the fact that the newly synthesised double stranded DNA is made up of one parental (existing) strand, and one newly synthesised strand. The parental duplex is not ‘conserved’ as an entity. This was proved by the Meselson-Stahl experiment by replicating E.Coli in different mediums of of different Nitrogen isotopes. The results consisted of half of normal weight and…

    Synthesis Of ATG-ACT-TGA

Each gene has instructions to make or build a protein. In protein coding the sequence is always in groups of three nucleotides. These groups of three are called codons. Every codon has one amino acid in a protein. All proteins need to start with the ATG codon. Most biological activities are carried out by proteins. In order to have the DNA sequence that reads ATG-ACT-CAT-GAG-TGA to be translated into the RNA to build a protein there has to be proteins that are not the same to be able to…
