    SWOT Analysis: HP Inc. Hewlett-Packard Inc. (HP) is currently an industry leader in personal computing, printing, and technology. Hewlett-Packard has had an interesting start which has led them to the company they are today. Overview of HP Start HP Inc. started in a garage in Palo Alto, California, which is at the heart of the “Silicon Valley” today. The company was started by two friends, Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard, in 1938. Bill and Dave both graduated from Stanford University.
