She began to show signs of her talent at a very young age. It was like the talent of singing ran in her blood because her mother, cousin, aunt, and godmother were all amazing singers. She started her singing career at a church singing side by side with her mother. She was signed to a record label at the age of nineteen and transitioned her singing style from gospel to pop.
