    1. From the perspective of James Otis there are numerous people I would love to “date” again. I would like to date John Adams again because we were good friends, and worked together to get the Townshend Act repealed. John is strongly against taxation without representation, which was something I felt strongly about as well. I would also like to date Samuel Adams because he made efforts to repeal the stamp and tea acts, two acts that were inflicted upon the colonies without adequate representation in Parliament.
