In my opinion, education is a tool one can use to change markets and societies, which is vital in order to eradicate global poverty. However, education is useless until one applies it to the real world. While Wake Forest University has provided me with a challenging curriculum, the lack of opportunities in Winston Salem almost make the classroom experience at Wake seem useless. Without the practical application of classroom learnings, a student may find it hard to stay motivated to keep up with the rigor of the class and may forget what is being taught. While I was at UTSA, I had an internship throughout the year, which helped me stay focus and apply what I learned in the classroom to a business research center. Throughout my life, I have sought opportunities to continually get better, be it physically, intellectually, or socially. At Wake Forest, I have received incredible instruction, but I have been discouraged to keep pushing through a couple classes,…

However, I have already began deliberating the application and deadline, and I believe I am ready to apply when I am a senior in 2018. Wake Forest has one of the…
