Introduction With the beginning of the Space-Age, and the first iteration of Satellite Imagery, society saw progress in many fields for the betterment of welfare, security and knowledge. This new form of imagery has influenced the way we monitor, map, plan and preserve our world, as well as how we perceive our universe. This study hopes to discuss the major changes satellite imagery has had on archeology, meteorology, and political or military surveillance. It will also include a brief discussion at the end of each topic where applicable, involving the impact Satellite Imagery has had on the welfare of the populace, urban development, the economy and what would be lost without the technology. Methodological Statements Research was mainly collected from five academic books. However, some basic information was collected from NOVA (distributed by the Public Broadcasting Service), which helped broadly summarize a few of the topics being discussed. While NOVA cannot be used as a source alone, the purpose of the information cited is to show other ways of using satellite imagery; based on the other topics discussed, examples provided by NOVA can be compared to the other uses, and reasonably concluded that they can also be used in the forms NOVA discusses. Ultimately, the purpose of NOVA is to create a reasonable assumption that satellite imagery has changed a broad range of uses, suggested by examples provided. Conceptual clarification For the purpose of this study, Satellite…
The study was based on the GLOBE project cultural attributes and, thus, assumed the applicability of the GLOBE methodology. To implement the aim of the study, Reily and Karounos (2009) conducted a survey of a sample of international sales managers from a number of countries. The findings of the study revealed that all cultures tend to favor emotional intelligence more than technical skills and a number of social competencies with regard to effective leadership. The study incorporates the…

Before the first theatres, playwrights and actors performed in towns, college halls, inn courtyards, and private houses (“The Original Globe”). When the Globe was built, theatres had only been around for roughly five years. Not only was William Shakespeare an amazing playwright, he helped design one of the first theatres! The beautiful Globe Theatre lied on the south of the river Thames (Mabillard). One woman described it as “one of the most elaborate and attractive theatres built.” The…
The story of The Three Stooges began in 1922 with Ted Healy, Moe Howard and Samuel “Shemp” Howard. From a young age, Moe Howard desired to go about the career of acting. He started in smaller positions, taking most anything, such as performing in Shakespearean plays. However, nothing for Moe stuck or became massively successful. That was until he re-encountered a long-time friend, and now Vaudeville entertainer, Ted Healy, at the Brooklyn Prospect Theatre. Healy needed a…
prominent theatres in today’s day and age? In Shakespeare’s time, one of the most popular was The Globe Theatre, also called Shakespeare’s Globe. Built in 1599, Shakespeare’s playing group, “The Lord Chamberlain’s Men” owned and operated this theatre. The theatre drew people from all across Europe, exposing Shakespeare to many people. Shakespeare, along with The Lord Chamberlain’s Men, performed some of his greatest plays there. The theatre burned down and closed once, resulting in people…
and since the Blackfriar is wood sound is not absorbed as well. The structural feature of the building causes the music to be too loud and distracting to the audience. The reconstructed playhouse also too into account how the original playhouse actually looked. When Shakespeare’s plays performed he put all the money he had into costumes and actors wages. This left little to the actual theatre, causing Shakespeare to cut corners. Marble was never actual marble in the playhouses, it was painted…
The Complete Works of William Shakespeare For my production response paper I decided to attend The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, a University of Anderson production play. The play lasted about and hour and thirty minutes with 4 actors; Pia Desideria, Katie Judge, Jack Render, and Cassi Russell. In all honesty I was stoked to attend this play due to the fact that it’s been around 10 years since I have attended a play. The title of the play gave me an idea of what I would be expecting.…

In 1582 at 18 years old instead of attending university, he married Anne Hathaway and had three children.
