The Solution Microsoft SharePoint Online (Microsoft, 2015) is the product which can resolve all of the struggles Simple Getaways is facing today and allow for further expandability in the future. This product has existing tools customizable to Simple Getaways in order to maintain their current processes, enhance, and streamline them. It also has the ability to drastically reduce version issues and physical paper requirements. The key stakeholders involved are employees, managers, travel agents, executive officers, tourists, and even other competing tourist agencies. Now let’s examine specifically what struggles exist at Simple Getaways and how SharePoint Online (SPO) can alleviate them. Stakeholders today are challenged with limited tools and resources capable of managing one document accessed by several users, resulting in multiple versions of the same document across several different locations. Managers for instance may distribute a document to their staff, but require to make a change in the near future. Making this change requires significant effort with the existing method of repeatedly communicating the changes and sending out bulk emails. This business struggle can be eliminated and the efficiency of management increased by one of the most beneficial features of SPO, which is that it allows team collaboration in the cloud.…
