The doors open again and you’re let into the fifth floor you step out and the elevator doors close behind you. On one side of the elevator door there’s a reminder to use the stairs in case of fire. To your left there’s a door permanently shut because it’s been combined with another apartment. There’s a metal trash chute with a worn silver handle that’s in a circle shape. In front of you there’s a cream wall that has a bottom half the same pattern of the carpeting, green with yellow spots.
