Here at the University of Charleston we all strive to meet a mission. The mission at the University of Charleston is to educate each student for a life of productive work, enlightened living, and community involvement is reflected in your life plan. On my very first visit at the University for SOAR, I learned what the mission statement was. When I learned it, I was not sure how it was going to affect me, or play a role during my education.
