As shown in the essay, in section of the three metamorphoses by Nietzsche thus spoke Zarathustra, the spirit are represent by a camel, a lion and a childIn my discussion, I chose to write about one of the most popular books of Nietzsche's, thus spoke Zarathustra by the time of the nineteenth century. The book entitled on the topic of the three metamorphoses. Where the spirit of the three metamorphoses is a camel, a lion, and a child. Nietzsche's main reason for writing on the three metamorphoses is to describe the three stages of life that each individual should go through to become a man. In other words, the first stage is a camel who is a believer and a follower of God. After, the second stage is a lion who is master of his own rules and not scared of saying no. Eventually, the third stage is a child who is a creator of new values of knowledge. Through all my explanation, I will argue about several things in my paragraphs which are about their definitions, their symbols, and their transformations. In the opinion of Nietzsche, the very first step that a person should take to become a man is a camel. Also, he is just the only spirit between the three metamorphoses who has the strength to carry a heavy weight of burdens that God told him to have it. For example: "What is difficult, O heroes, ask the spirit that bear much, that I may take upon myself and exult in my strength?"(32). Additionally, when an individual becomes same as a camel, he actually doesn't follow their own…

Gatsby had tried to conceive an ideal form in the physical world. Alongside this, while he serviced as the Übermensch, he still neglected life in failing to affirm it, additionally, while his values went directly against everything the traditional East Egg stood for, they were more focussed on himself. He hosted massive parties, but he was trying to accomplish what was always his dream for himself. Even when encountering Daisy, he cared more about him being with her than whatever she wished. In…

All these are connected to the very core of Nietzsche’s philosophy: the absence of God. The will to power is closely related to the Übermensch which is basically “the elevation of man to a position from which he can permanently assume the place in the world formerly occupied by God.” The Übermensch is Over-man, or Super-man – meaning surpassing man. Man is he who is dependent on a Higher Being; the Übermensch is he who relies on his own capabilities. Again, this is a clear affirmation to the…

“‘almost solemnly,’” “‘I promise you ma’am, that I will cherish the books like life itself.’” Stories like this, while untrue, served a valuable purpose in Germany. They constructed a connection, albeit a fabricated one, between the Führer and the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche who was viewed as a great German man. In reality, Hitler learned of Nietzsche and other philosophers through secondary sources such as newspapers and Elisabeth’s “essential sayings” that were reinterpreted and distorted…
