I want to train to become a Midwife to provide genuine, empathetic and holistic care for childbearing women during their pregnancy, labour and early postnatal period. I aim to empower women by promoting informed choice and safe Midwifery practice. I have always had a strong interest in the physiology of childbirth with a particular fascination in water birth and its link to normal labour/birth and how the promotion of normality in Midwifery practice can establish better outcomes and both positive short/long term benefits for women.
