    I Hari Bhattarai (DSO/ERT) have worked with the company since august 2012. I started my working career with the company in Darwin (Bladin Point) as a “Client Service Officer” and in November 2012, I joined very interesting and challenging role (Emergency Response Team) ERT since I have maintained my fitness level well and performing task in best of my knowledge. However, I came to Melbourne in April 2015 and continuing my career with the company due to the closure of Bladin Point (Darwin). When I arrived at MIDC I had seen worst time to best time at the centre, eventually when management introduced ERTs in per shift and action that we took when they breached their condition of stay at Detention Centre incredibly incidents were reduced. I am being with the MIDC the day they introduced ERTs on the floor regularly and experienced the impact of this. I am always confident and attempt to get things done efficiently and within the time frame. During my working career with the company I had opportunities to be a part of the team to assist in riot that occurred 2014 and 2015 in “Christmas Island”. Also, in other minor incidents i.e. Code Black, Code Blue, Code Yellow and Code Green around the networks i.e.(Bladin Point, Wickham Point, MITA, NIDC and MIDC). I had involved in volatile situation where I had to take initiation to de-escalate the further incidents promptly e.g. putting handcuffs, flexi cuffs, restraining, and escorting to them in a safe place.
