    1. Airedale Terrier. Airedale Terrier is the largest of all terriers earning it the nickname of the “King of all Terriers.” The breed originated in Yorkshire, specifically the Aire Valley. It was primarily used to catch otters and rats between the Aire and Wharfe rivers. Aside from being one of the big dogs that don’t shed, the Airedale terrier is very important in terms of being a war dog in World War I. It is also confident, outgoing, and intelligent making it a great sports dog. 2. Bouvier Des Flandres. Originating in Flanders, the Bouvier des Flandres is a herding dog. It is best used in doing general works at the farm which can include shep herding, cattle droving and cart pullings. However, as time went by, the works of the Bouvier des flandres already evolved to more challenging roles as guard and police dogs. Some would often keep it as pets too. The breed is loyal, gentle, and rationale, but it is protective by the people closed to them as well. It also possesses intelligence, accountability and a complex sense of control which can limit their aggressive behavior. 3. Giant Schnauzer. Developed in the 17th century Germany, the Giant schnauzer is a working dog, and the largest of the three breeds of the Schnauzers. The first works of the Giant schnauzer is in the farming community where they were used to drive livestocks to the market and to guard the farm.
