Purpose: To promote growth in the culinary profession with special attention to the tenets of modern culinary development-ability, practicality, nutrition, workmanship, economy, presentation, creativity, and concept. 2. On 21 April 2016 the 7th Transportation Brigade (Expeditionary) will host the 2nd Quarter, FY16 Top Chef Training Competition. This competition will consist of the Jr/NCO winners from the 2nd Quarter Chef of the Quarter Board. Each competitor will select four Culinary Specialist to be his/her team members for the competition for a total of five competitors. On 14 April 2016 the three team leaders will turn in a complete menu with recipe cards, competitors name and rank. This information will be provided to MSG Akins, Orlando G. at the brigade S-4 office or via email to orlando.g.akins.mil@mail.mil, NLT 1700hrs on 14 April 2016. 3. On 20 April 2016 each team will be given three and a half hours to begin preparation of the team’s choice in the Resolute Café based on availability.
