    Are Michelin Tires the best? I was recently involved in helping my disabled son Michael select tires to replace the worn out ones on his Ford truck. Being an attentive parent, I did several hours of research to find the best tires were made by Michelin. In a Consumer Reports article, “What brands make the best tires?”, author Gene Petersen states, “Across the board, Michelin offers a nearly perfect blend of grip, handling, low rolling resistance for good fuel economy, and log tread-life” (Petersen, What Brands Make the Best Tires?). To summarize, this article evaluates several different tire manufacturers utilizing a Consumer Reports testing team to give me the top 5 tires to choose from. My research made my choice an easy one. Michelin Tires have consistently proven that they are the best tires based on exceptional tread life, competitive cost as compared to other tires, and outstanding warranty after the sale. I agreed with the article and how the tires ranked based on the testing criteria they met.
