    “Do not give up, stay strong, keep your head up high, keep trying, work hard, you got this…” these are few of the many different phrases my best friend has said to me. These words demonstrate the motivation that all of us need in order to be strong and successful in this world. Although we all go through difficult situations in our lives, we learn how to deal with each and every one of them. In fact, we all have someone that we go to with our problems, that has greatly impacted our lives and/or has changed our lives completely. That someone that has positively influenced my life is my best friend Ally. Her determination, motivation, and hard work is what inspired me to become who I am today. I cannot remember the last time my best friend put her goals on pause. She has always worked hard for what she wants and strived for the best. The words “cannot” and “impossible” were never in her vocabulary, she believed everything was possible as long as we put our mind to it. My best friend managed to do 3 sports in high school and still graduate with a 4.0 GPA. She never had excuses for anything, she just focused on what was important and stayed determined. In wise, her determination reinforced my mentality. It made me think further of my expectations and analyze what a successful person I can be if I worked hard for what I want. That also influenced the responsible person I am today because even though I go out and do things I like, I still make time to do what is going to help me…
