Thomas Bruce, 7th Earl of Elgin

The Elgin Marbles also known as the Parthenon Marbles has caused a stir in their rightful ownership. They are a collection of ancient Greek sculptures that said to be taken from Athens to England by Thomas Bruce he was the 7th Earl of Elgin. The British is claiming rights on the sculptures due to documents of Bruce purchase. However, the Greek government would like for the marbles to be returned to their rightful home place.
