    climate change. I was baffled when I read the headline from CNN because one would imagine the head of EPA to be more knowledgeable in the field of environment science. If not CO2, what else is the primary cause? “The Sun”? The turning point in this movie, I think, occurred when Michel Shermer shared his story about being a skeptic of climate change for more than ten years and then changed his views after looking at data. Currently, Michel Shermer debates against his former colleagues whom he once supported. Like Mr. Shermer, I used to think that climate change was an exaggeration by Western nation. In high school, I never the term global warming. Because of my preference for hot seasons, I did think global warming was a problem until I began to read extensively into the causes and effects. I do not think that ignorance is the problem when it comes to people opposing the reality of climate change. I believe the main reason why some politician in Congress still do not believe in climate change is because they are either misinformed or are unwilling to accept the consequences of acknowledging that the earth is warmer.
