The Kinect V2 is composed of a time-of-flight continues-wave camera with a resolution of 512*424 pixels (width*height), an RGB camera with a resolution of 1920*1080 pixels (width*height), an array of 4 microphones and some electronics for signal elaboration. The camera is able to acquire images at a maximum frequency of 30 Hz. Sending out invisible structures pulses into the scene whilst measuring the individual traveling time of each point in the pulse (See figure 3.1, page 16). The operating…
The FT-Raman and FT-IR spectroscopic analysis of 2'-nitroacetophenone (2NAP) were performed. The vibrational spectra of 2NAP was found by applying the Density Functional Theory Calculations based on Beck3-lee-yang-parr (B3LYP) level with the use of the standard 6-31G*/6-311+G** basis set. The vibrational wave number for the optimized geometry was calculated at the same level of theory. The computed values of frequencies are scaled using an appropriate scale factor to give up the excellent unity…
3. Results and discussion 3.1. XRD analysis The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern of Sn-substituted Ni-Zn ferrites with the chemical composition of Ni0.6-x/2Zn0.4-x/2SnxFe2O4 (NZSFO) are shown in Fig. 1. The XRD spectra were indexed and fcc cubic phase was identified. The structural parameters are calculated from the XRD data and have been discussed in Ali et al [6]. The lattice constants are calculated from the XRD data and represented in Table 1. The distances between the magnetic ions at…
X-rays is one type of electromagnetic radiation that can send waves through the body which makes us see through the body tissue but it doesn’t go through the bone. Therefore it is used in hospitals to see if a person has a broken bone or any diseases. Because it can go through clothes and the human skin it is also used in airports to see if anybody has a knife or anything dangerous with them. X-rays were first discovered by German scientist Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1985. Roentgen found x-rays…
A wave is a disturbance of energy. Sound and light are both disturbances in energy, and they both travel in the forms of waves. While sound travels in a longitudinal wave, light travels through a transverse wave. From a perspective of a human, sound and light on earth is very different compared to sound and light in space. These waves have differences in speed, form, shape, and other properties. Despite many of the differences, sound and light are very similar to each other. Light is a…
the patient to grow new healthy bone marrow. In order for a stem cell transplant to work the patient must have had some of their blood stem cells removed before chemo and radiation started. If the patient did that then their stem cells are frozen and stored for later use, then they are given a high dose of chemotherapy and radiation to get rid of cancerous cells, then the stem cells are thawed and injected back into the patient’s…
and sperm (testicles). Most testicular cancers start in cells that make sperm. These cells are called germ cells. The two main types of testicular germ cell cancers are seminomas and nonseminomas. Seminomas grow and spread slowly and respond to radiation therapy. Nonseminomas grow and spread more quickly than seminomas. Testicular cancer affects the testicles and it can spread through the body but it’s curable. Symptoms Men with testicular cancer may experience a variety of symptoms or…
Keep batteries stored in LiPo-safe bags. How will you flow between the activities? Start with a whole group safety briefing and watch the Droneology videos all together on the projector. Break into teams to build, then come back together in P2 to talk through flight dynamics and essential terminology. Split to individual computers to take the Lesson 2 Quiz in C1. Come back together to watch the next batch of videos in C2 and end with a review of safety procedures in the DP. What does FPV stand…
The Brachytherapy procedure consists of radiation occurring inside the body. The materials that are injected into the area around the cancer in the prostate gland are known as “seeds”. The seeds are what cause the radiation to occur in the general area. The seeds are placed within a sterilized needle which then the needle is pushed through the skin between the scrotum and the rectum and ends within the prostate gland to begin radioactivity. There are two different types of doses for the therapy.…
Stage 3 means the cancer is in more than one lobe of the lung or it has spread to lymph nodes or nearby areas in the chest. The patient may have surgery if the surgeon can remove all of the cancer or they are well enough. This may require having to remove part or the whole of the lung. After surgery, they might have chemotherapy to lower the chance of the cancer coming back. If they cannot have surgery they might have one or more of these treatments radiotherapy, chemotherapy or…
