    Role Of Evil In Macbeth

‘Macbeth and Lady Macbeth commit monstrous acts, but they are not monsters. Discuss.’ ‘Fate’ and ‘Ambition’ are the two keys components that drive the play Macbeth forward. In terms of plot and characterization, the two powerful characters Macbeth and Lady Macbeth take fate into their hands to reach towards their goals which lead to a series of misfortunes and sins which turns them from an ambitious person into a monster. The play starts with the three witches quoting, ‘Fair is foul, and foul is fair; Hover through the fog and filthy air’. Apart from the use of a trochaic tetrameter in structure, it’s the alliteration and the reference to humours that add to these lines in the play. One can assume that to the witches anything fair would be foul to the mankind and anything fair to the mankind is foul to the witches. Therefore through these two lines we can foreshadow the doomed existence of the play and its compelling character Macbeth who does ‘fair’ deeds according to the witches’ prophecy in order to meet his goals. In my opinion it’s not the characters that are devious and ambitious but the three weird sisters or the witches in the play that cast a major influence on Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. The concept of magic realism plays outright in the plot and drives the characters forward to do the monstrous deeds. ‘By Sinell’s death, I know I am Thane of Glamis, But how of Cawdor? The Thane of Cawdor lives, A prosperous gentleman’; Punctuation plays a major role in…

In the long shot of Munchkinland, the town is mostly in left third. The trees that we are “looking through” are in the middle third leaving the left third to show the enormous amount of grasslands between Munchkinland and the mountainous background through aerial perspective. As the camera pans, it has a bird’s eye perspective. set of design plans covered in ink with scribbled instructions all along the sides. I went to take a closer look, when abruptly, the man rolled up the paper, shoving it back into his pocket. A third man had joined them clapping the shifty man’s back and raising a silver cup in greetings to them. “How are you enjoying your evenings, fine gentleman?” he said, with a jolly grin. “Very fine, thank you,” said the shifty man nervously, avoiding the third man’s gaze. “Marvelous,” the third boomed,…

However, half a century later, not only is our society not far from the World State and implementing the wrong ideas from…
