stone was made for a purpose and that 's why it was structure the way it is. The Long center is structure in a very modern architecture as it was established in 2008. There 's so many parts to the architecture is structured of stages and venues. Like Michael and Susan Dell hall, Debra and Kevin Rollins Studio Theatre, City Terrace and Hartman Concert Park, Kodosky Donor Lounge, West Pincer Terrace & Lounge and AT&T Education rooms .The main building which is the performance art venue is structured with cubical shapes. On the side of the building there is a hallway that is connected to the building and it sticks out being connected with the ring from the outside structure. The Long Center Terrace is connected with the building as the tall columns which are drastically separated have a thin roof and it flows through the columns and through the building. The way the Long Center is structured gives a circular flow throughout the architecture. The whole architecture is wrapped around to connect each stage and venue from the inside to the outside in a circular flow. In Dante’s Purgatorio we find that the terraces form opposites from the circles of hell in at least two ways. First, Dante and Virgil are now traveling upwards rather than downwards as they did in hell. Second, in hell the offenses range from least to worst whereas here, in purgatory, the first terrace contains those who have committed the worst of the forgivable sins, pride. It may seem strange that pride is the worst, but as C.S. Lewis stated in Mere Christianity “the essential vice, the…

Did you get your Proposed 2016 Crestwood Terrace Budget and Proxy information? Interesting that the Board Meeting was Thursday to discuss the budget, dues increase, and assessment; and we got the information in Friday's mail! But, if RPM already had the information to send out, what good would it have done for anyone to attend and comment, anyway? The proposed…

The vacant lot in Sunset Terrace is a monstrosity. This space is currently occupied by weeds, litter, and pests. The town of Sunset has recently purchased this lot and plans to use it to benefit the community. After the eradication of the garbage and vermin, this land would be a great blank slate to build a tennis court, basketball court, and playground. This lot is 234 feet long and eighty-one feet wide. According to Google.com, that is the size of three average tennis courts. The idea is…

I decided to chose Object 1: Vincent van Gogh, Café Terrace at Night, 1888, oil on canvas, KröllerMuller Museum, Otterlo for my design summary/formal analysis. Two elements utilized in this piece of art are texture and color. Texture is the surface quality of a work (Dewitte, Larmann, Shields 62). Color is the optical effect caused when reflected white light of the spectrum is divided into a separate wavelength (Dewitte, Larmann, Shields 92). Implied Texture is displayed throughout this canvas.…
