The day was young and the sun blazed from the sky. It was an afternoon and the atmosphere around us was filled with joy. The streets of Brooklyn Center was filled with high rates of hustle and bustle and when my friend dropped me off at my home, she said the normal "see you later!" as expected. My response was unexpected though. I replied with a surprising "when?". She replied "tomorrow at school" and I asked her again what she meant by "tomorrow". Ways of behaviors are expected by the societies we live in and some of the behaviors are so ingrained in us that anything that deviates from the mode of behavior is considered a deviation from the norm. Norms are unwritten rules of society that govern our behavior. According to dictionary.com, a norm is something that is usual, typical or standard.
