In my novel: Department 19: The Rising the search for love, truth, and Identity comes into play multitudinously. Jamie’s life has been an utter disaster since the day he agreed to the terms of Department 19. He was hoping for a sojourn of a stay, but with the demise of his father, and the transmogrification of his mother into a vampire, he is in way over his head.
