They thought that the chocolate ants would taste putrid, but they didn’t taste as bad as they thought they would. The Pigman took the kids to this store and he let them buy whatever they wanted. All three of them bought rollerskates. They were all playing tag in their roller skates and the Pigman chased John up the stairs and he had a heart attack, which sends him to the hospital. While the Pigman was in the hospital, John would ask Lorraine sometimes how the Pigman was doing. She would reply by saying something like, “Why would your care?” thinking he is some kind of ingrate.
