    Whippany Park High School is a co-ed, public high school in Whippany, New Jersey. It is part of the Hanover Park Regional High School District. Classes are held at WPHS for pupils in grades 9 through 12. There are around 700 pupils and the student-to-teacher ratio is 14:1. The gender division is 51 percent female and 49 percent male. State assessments show 94 percent of pupils are proficient in English and 87 percent are proficient in Mathematics. The graduation rate is 97 percent and the College Readiness Index is 41.4. To graduate from WPHS, pupils must have a minimum of 140 credits in the mandatory subjects of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Studies, Visual/Performing Arts, World Languages, Financial Literacy, Health, and Physical Education. rospective graduates must also take and pass Technological Literacy and 21st Century Life and Careers. Any additional credits needed are made up in electives. WPHS is in the Northwest Jersey High School Athletic Conference which is overseen by the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association. There is a full athletic program at WPHS and there are varsity and junior varsity teams for boys and girls.
