After that, the Engineering & Manufacturing Development Phase is where a system is developed and designed before going into production. Then, the Production & Deployment Phase is where a system that satisfies an operational capability is produced and deployed to an end user. This phase has two major efforts; Low-Rate Initial Production and Full-Rate Production and Deployment. Finally, the Operations & Support Phase takes place.
