Aggressive behavior is shown throughout social media, music and everyday life. Entertainment today contributes to the fact that today’s youth are vulgar, rude, and rebellious and disrespect authority. Parents trying to be friends with their children, instead of being parents is a huge contributing factor. Lack of strong parenting skills add to the cause of this belligerent behavior. Therefore, in writing, I shall endeavor to find the answer using both pros and cons of the subject. Behavior Education Manners & Etiquette Parenting Behavior: In viewing the behavior of youth today, one can readily see the lack of self-respect in several ways. Namely, the way they dress. Jeans worn down below their bottom, showing more underwear than necessary, who cares if they wear boxer briefs or tighty-whities. Their clothing appears to be as if it has not been washed for a while, torn, dirty t-shirts with crude words written across their chest. Furthermore, clothes are getting more provocative, they show more skin and it’s sending the wrong message. According to Tracy Stanciel, of Chicago Now, the parents are responsible for the way their daughters dress due to the fact, they allow them to. Parents buy the clothes and therefore, they should be aware of what the girls re…

My first song is by Agust D called “The Last”, I think this song is more based to be a hardship song. The reason why I think this song is a hardship song is because he talks about how before he debuted, he suffered from depression, social anxiety, and did not have much self confidence. Agust D states this in verse 1 ,”On the other side of the famous idol rapper, Stands my weak self, Depression, OCD Around the age of 18, I developed social anxiety”. Later on,using a metaphor in verse 4 he states…

Last Christmas Literary Device Last Christmas by the Beatles is a song about heartbreak and regret. I think that Last Christmas is a song that tells us to be careful who we give our love to and only to give it when you are sure you love each other. This song features a variety of literary devices such as repetition, metaphors, and imagery. The first literary device used is repetition. Repetition is an important part of any song because it provides rhyme, structure, and is usually the chorus of…

Eminem phase. It all started when I was babysitting one night and 8 mile, a movie loosely based on the life of Marshal Mather’s better known as Eminem, came on (don’t worry, the kids were already sound asleep). I loved the movie and the music in it so much that I started researching Eminem’s life. In “Song of Soloman”, Morrison tells a remarkable story reflecting the absence of a father figure in African American homes. Instead of looking at the absence of the black man in a blackm family, she depicts this men not as traitors or deserters, but as strong, exploratory spirits providing a solid foundation for their children, even if his absence affects them. Morrison introduces the imagery of flight, using this to capture a vast foreshadowing to the family’s changing aspects of “Song of…
