To the next section leader, Congratulations! If you are reading this, then you have what it takes to lead the greatest and one of the most difficult sections in the band. Being section leader is hard. It was one of the hardest and most frustrating things I have done in high school. There have been nights when I 've come home, exhausted and defeated. There have also been many days when the whole section locks in. Those are the days that will make you so proud to lead this amazing section. The trumpets goof around a lot and won 't give you the respect you deserve. They will talk back and you will want to slip poison into their cupcakes. Please please please listen to the staff. When a leader shows that they don 't trust the staff, the section sees it is as okay to be belligerent and rude. Like most, I have had doubts in the leaders of this…

I even had to roll my eyes at it (even though if I’m honest with you I can’t roll my eyes for the life of me). The main reason for why I felt this way is because, I looked at people and thought they were going to take this as an acting experience severing ties to what they would really act like if placed in a rill group. Looking at the facts, I noticed people would change there behaviors…

I’m a leader. All my life, I’ve taken command of my own life, whether it be with school, extra-curriculars, or simple everyday situations. I prided myself on taking initiative and leading a group to success. For me, being a leader was inherent while being a follower was unnatural. I was still team player, but I inadvertently added a nonexistent “I” to team. Even in situations where a leader in unnecessary, I still tried to asset myself among my teammates. Up to the end of sophomore year, I saw…

land?” Bruce thought back to Thor. Admittedly, he knew and understood little about Asgardian customs. If Loki’s the brother, he must have grown up in court. So for a man who had eons to learn leadership, he hadn’t seemed to have developed a knack for it – not the way Cap had, not the way Thor had. But to express that would be fueling another standoff between the two “monsters.” Bruce understood the brutal effects an inferiority complex had, he battled them every day. He wouldn’t just be…

magic, thrills, and the unexpected exorbitant expense of food. After Disney World, we visited Universal Studios which was the most thrilling aspect of our trip. It was more adult oriented because there were more roller coasters that were not suitable for small children compared to Disney World.
