I screamed to the top of my lungs. I didn’t know what else to do. My body was frozen and in shock. What could you do? As a senior in high school, you would have never thought that you would have to bury a class mate. Senior year is supposed to be one of the happiest times of your life. He made it this far, why was he taken from us? A million questions ran through my mind, I was confused of why this had to happen. I tried gathering my thoughts so I could be there for my classmates. We had to stick together, because we had many rough days ahead of us. This was one of the hardest situations I think any of us have ever been in. A parent shouldn’t have to watch their child lay there and suffer. He was all his mom had. One day we had to watch her go into his room and tell him that he didn’t have to hold on anymore for her; if he was tired he didn’t have to fight anymore. It was up to him. That was the hardest thing in my life I have ever seen. The next day, he decided to stop fighting. He was tired. If you met Tyler you knew he didn’t like school, but he made it to his senior year and then this tragedy happened. The ache and the pain we felt the day we lost him was like no other. The bond our class now had was unbreakable. After his funeral, some of the seniors went out to eat and then we went mud riding. School was rough some days, but graduation was the worst. We made sure he had a seat at graduation, and we including his family in everything. He was a part of our class. We are a…

I know that this topic was asking me to talk about what made me happy. However, for me, the hardest thing is talking about myself. To give a good speech, I think the most important thing is to move people. However, I think my…

Death is a scary word for most people. My aunt was one of the greatest women I had ever met. So I questioned God daily. Why does he let such bad things happen to such good people? Many people don’t understand what it feels like to lose someone. On October 18, 2015 I finally did. It all started around May of 2015. I went to visit my aunt Ladonna after church Sunday morning. My family and I ate lunch with her like normal. Ladonna was laughing and smiling just like usual. A couple of weeks later,…
