Right before Cinderella was about to be off to the ball the fairy godmother reminded her the spell does not go on forever and that at midnight the spell would be over and everything will return to like before. Cinderella arrives at the ball and unlike all the other woman there she caught the prince'an eye. They dance throughout the whole back yard of the palace. She loses track of the time and before she knew it the clock struck a few minutes before midnight. Cinderella dashed off dashed out leaving the prince lost and confused on how he will ever see her again. Throughout Cinderella's rush, she left behind her glass slipper. The next day the prince tells his father he isn't marrying any other woman then the woman he danced with last night a the ball. The king requested the Duke the glass slipper throughout the kingdom to find whose foot would fit. While Cinderella was preparing herself for the arrival of the Duke her stepmother locks her in her room. While the Stepmother and sisters are trying to fool the Duke and his assistant, the mice sneak the key away from the step-mother. After minutes of fighting with Lucifer the cat for the key, the mice get the key to Cinderella. She then runs down the stairs asking the duke if she could try the glass slipper on the jealous step-mother sabotages the moment and the glass slipper breaks.
