As we go through life, we have many experiences that become pivotal and defining moments, moments that shape us into who we are today and even cause us to change our attitude or perspective on life itself. Two of the most defining experiences in my life happened around the same time, sophomore year. My life changed so much just within the course of a few months. According to this definition, each one of the 7 and a half billion people inhabiting this planet have hundreds and thousands and millions of moments that compose the entirety of their lives. Desperate moments, joyous moments, heartbroken moments, terrifying moments, ridiculous moments. All these emotions, all these moments, that make us who we are. The defining moments of our lives are remembered by specific details. The memories of these moments can easily be triggered when least expected. Good or bad, a particular sight, a distinct scent, a familiar noise, or a sweet taste can bring back a moment as if it was being relieved.
