    To Have a Cure It was just a normal night, my dad was in Osborne working and we sat in the living room watching TV, until the phone rang. As a young girl I didn’t understand why my mother sat in the corner of her room crying while talking on the phone. Each time I went to ask what was wrong I got gently shooed away and told to go play. I later found out my mother had just heard that her close friend, Shannon, had breast cancer. Breast cancer and other cancers currently are not curable and who knows if they ever will be?
