to get over the crack in the sidewalk. The front wheels stopped with a small thud against the crack and I fell off. The second attempt was no better, I placed my foot too far back on the skateboard so when I went to push off I fell backward and landed hard. Another twenty minutes off this I came up with the conclusion that I needed to be going faster, but the only place to do that would be on the street, and the time I was to young to be by myself. Coincidently my uncle wanted to go for a drive along the country roads. I thought hey those roads have hills and how do you get speed, go downhill. When we finally made it to where we were going I looked for a spot at the crest of the highway, that would make a good place to go down hill but not be too bumpy or rough. Then it stopped suddenly and I was flung forward off the side of the hill and started to roll down hitting and scraping the sharp rocks and sticks and eventually stopped at the bottom. I was in so much pain, every where I moved it…
