It was about 9:30 PM when I finally arrived at home. I was exhausted and ready to unwind for the evening. I walked up the stairs of my house put the key in the door heard the click of the lock unlocking and opened the door. Before I could even turn on the light I felt someone come up behind me and start to choke me. I was trying to fight with all my might but whoever this person was he would not release his grip on me. The figures grip was tremendously strong and I did not stand a chance at defending myself. Eventually, I surrendered myself to this figure. The last thing I remember was blacking out. I did not know where I was all I could see is black. I was cold and there were drops of water landing on me. I was sitting on a chair with my arms tied behind it, I could not move any of my limbs. My best guess to where I could be is a abandoned warehouse, but I could not say for sure. I had no conception of time and there was no way of knowing how long I was out for. All of a sudden I heard footsteps walking towards me. They were very ominous and I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. All of a sudden a door opened and a voice started talking to me. “Hello, Shannon wake up I am glad we are finally together once more.” The minute I heard that voice I knew immediately that it was Tom. I was so taken back I did now know what to think or what he was going to do to me. My instincts kicked in at that moment I started to kick and scream hoping that someone would hear…

I kept eye contact as exceptional as possible. Although, I often did find my eyes wondering to the side or wondering to her notepad as she was writing. During one question she did look up at me for my response and I noticed after that I did not keep full eye contact with her, I often looked to the side. In addition to this, I would state that I did preform many “do not’s”. I could have been just slightly a bit more professional. As I stated before there was one question where she looked up at…

The cheapest way to garner a scream is that of the “jump scare”, which is the sudden change in either audio or visuals usually through a loud noise to elicit fear, yet the Norman Bates reveal takes an opposite approach. Rather than using a “jump scare”, the reveal of Norma Bate’s corpse and Norman Bates himself are all forewarned early through audio cues or the slow movements. When Lila enters the basement and sees Norma Bates sitting on the chair, the audience senses that something is off due…

and jewelry displaying their wealth to the peasants below them. Perhaps one of the best ways to look into the life of royalty is to start where their day begins and ends. The bedroom. There are dark wooden doors in an arched stone doorway. The doors have black bolts that match the curvy door handles. was scheduled home two weeks later after her rehabilitation treatment. Her physician stated that she would require multiple medical supplies to use at home after her discharge from the facility. William Shakespeare’s Hamlet comes nearly four hundred years before Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive, yet they tell similar stories. While both plays have their own unique qualities and overall style, they both focus on one character’s relationship with the world around them. Hamlet, however, only acts within the world of the play, while Lil Bit switches between scenes and narration. Additionally, Shakespeare’s play takes place in a large castle while Vogel relies on chairs to represent…
