Extreme descriptions such as “wilding” and “wolf pack” exaggerate the negative image of these teenagers, even though who are actually innocent in this case. The media is trying to plant prejudices in the public’s mind, to make decisions for them to treat the five teenager suspects as pure evil and abominable culprits. The media also uses positive words to emphasize that the victim is so fragile, soft, innocent and unfortunate, but these words are more useful to reflect the suspects’ vicious characterization. To date, central bank’s independence, accountability, and transparency have been seen as three essential pillars of this change.
