The Beatles originated from Liverpool, England. The four members of the band is Paul Mccartney one of the main vocalist and is the bass guitar, John Lennon who plays rhythm guitar and is one of the main vocalist, George Harrison who is lead guitar and sometimes sings, and Ringo Starr who plays drums. The band’s name before The Beatles was The Quarrymen and Ringo would be the last Beatle to join the band. The band’s debut album was “Please Please me” which Parlophone had rushed released on March 22nd, 1963. John Lennon and Paul Mccartney wrote eight of the fourteen songs in “Please Please Me” together. Some of the influences the band had were Elvis Presley, Little Richard, and Dylan Thomas just to name a few. The song “Yellow Submarine” appeared in the album Revolver in 1966, the seventh studio album they had made. The album was on the UK Album Charts for thirty-four weeks.
