    watched all of the children struggling to get out. There is only one way I feel… I don’t want them to go. Every day I see them get off the “special needs” bus and get laughed at and see the fingers pointed straight at them, it’s ridiculous. You would have thought that tenth graders would have learned by now that bullying and harassment is childish, but apparently not. It’s amazing how much potential the kids on my bus have, especially Johnny. John is the type of guy who is independent and strong inside and out. I love him, he is a great kid. As he rolls down the sidewalk in his wheelchair being laughed at and having fingers pointed at him, he just keeps on rolling like nothing has happened, like he knows who he is, and won’t let anyone take that away from him. I hate how those tenth graders think it’s ok to tease, but I love how Johnny keeps up a wall around him and stays strong. Sometimes, I just want so badly to go up to those “mean kids” and throw a punch or something. But I can’t, I’ll lose my job, and that’s not an option for me. I can’t deal with not being able to see these kids every day. * * * “You know I’m not good at words, but I just had to thank you, I really appreciate that you wake up early every morning to pick us up and then come back later just to drop us off again.
